Finance Discovery & Delivery
The Finance Discovery & Delivery Process
An Introduction
There has never been more available cash in the UK for businesses looking to grow. So where do you start when it comes to raising commercial finance?
There are so many options available to achieve the same outcome, but not all of them are right for every business. Make the wrong choice, and a short-term fix now could mean problems in the long run.
So how do you figure out what’s right for you?
Follow the Finance Discovery & Delivery process, with ABL.
What is the Finance Discovery & Delivery Process?
Basically, what is says on the tin! We discover all we need to know about your business and why you need commercial finance, which in turn lets us recommend - and then deliver - the most suitable commercial finance facility.
ABL follows the Finance Discovery & Delivery process with all clients to fully understand the objective behind the required finance and to ensure every client accesses the most suitable facility/ies.
Many business owners and advisors aren’t clear where to go to obtain finance. When they do find a provider, there is no way of checking or comparing finance facilities to ensure what they’re signing up to is the best thing for the business.
Who is the Finance Discovery & Delivery process great for?
Any business, or business advisor, looking to raise commercial finance that is 100% tailored to the objectives of that business and its circumstances.
Any business, or business advisor, that requires an independent view of the commercial finance market to make informed choices.
Any business, or business advisor, that favours a solution focussed approach over a product focussed one.
The Finance Discovery & Delivery process in a nutshell
Stage 1 - Fact Find
This is where we’ll delve into why you need commercial finance, and what you’re looking to achieve by raising it. Is it business growth? Do you want to buy machinery? Perhaps you want to restructure existing debt. Here, you’ll tell us the important stuff to give us a 365-degree view of the business.
Stage 2 - Discovery
Next, our team of commercial finance experts will analyse the information provided, and we’ll carry out a financial analysis, including calculating your affordability on different loans.
We never start with a certain type of finance in mind – instead we use our knowledge and expertise to discover what’s most suitable for you (and – because we’re independent – there are no affiliations or recommending one finance type or lender over another).
Then, we’ll send you the finance options we think are most suitable for you, based on what we know about your business combined with our expert knowledge of the commercial finance market.
Stage 3 - Delivery
Finally, when the ‘I’s have been dotted and the ‘T’s have been crossed, we’ll deliver the finance.
This includes submitting applications and managing funders on your behalf and structuring the finance facility for you if we’ve recommended more than one funder. We’ll also liaise with any existing finance companies and solicitors to move the deal on – and we’ll keep you informed and up to date until the funds are with you.
